Born and raised in Southall, West London, Jatinder has always been influenced by the history and activism ingrained within the town she grew up in. Her interest in the arts focuses upon areas of identity, communities and social justice.
With several years of experience in social media, digital marketing, facilitating group work and delivering projects at various progressive cultural organisations, Jatinder is now working with adult audiences in the museum and heritage sector.
Previous projects have included a photographic documentary of dialogues created between home and diaspora communities, working alongside Heston Primary School for the ‘Take One Picture’ initiative with the National Portrait Gallery and curating an exhibition of offender and ex-offender art work.
Diary of an Art Girl will explore daily life of a young professional in the museum and heritage sector and regular reviews on exhibitions, events and cultural happenings via vlogs and blog posts!
